SEO Specialist for US based agency - Must speak excellent English
We are a US-based marketing company seeking a highly skilled SEO Specialist to join our remote team. You’ll optimize our clients' online presence through advanced SEO strategies. The role requires seamless integration into our existing processes, delivering results on platforms like Squarespace, Webflow, WordPress, or any other CMS our clients use. Video calls are a key part of our workflow, as you’ll collaborate with our team in real time. We need a professional who can show past proven results, start quickly, adapt to diverse projects, and maintain clear, proactive communication in English.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct keyword research, on-page and off-page SEO, and performance analysis for client websites.
- Optimize content and technical SEO across platforms (Squarespace, Webflow, WordPress, etc.) as per client needs.
- Build high-quality links and website authority.
- Be able to provide strategy planning ideas.
- Participate in frequent video calls with our team, presenting strategies and updates.
- Adapt to our internal processes and tools, ensuring smooth collaboration with minimal onboarding time.
- Deliver measurable results, such as improved rankings and traffic, tailored to client goals.
Requirements:
- Proven SEO experience (3+ years preferred) with a portfolio or case studies showing results.
- Exceptional English proficiency (written and spoken) for clear, professional communication.
- Comfortable with video calls, including screen sharing and presentations (reliable internet and webcam required).
- Expertise in multiple platforms is preferred, in any of the following: Squarespace, Webflow, WordPress, etc. and willingness to adapt to new tools.
- Ability to integrate into established workflows with minimal training.
- With availability during US business hours (Central or Eastern Time).
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with US or international clients.
- Familiarity with tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar.
- Marketing agency background for a faster learning curve.
Compensation:
This role is for an independent contractor, and pay will be a competitive hourly/project-based rate (please specify your rate or range in your application), paid in USD via online transfer.
